4020AC Five-Axis Ultra-High Pressure Water Jet Cutting Machine Safety Instructions

To ensure the personal safety of operators and the normal operation of the equipment, all operators must strictly comply with the following safety regulations before, during and after operation. Any violation of the operating procedures may lead to equipment failure, personal injury or property loss.

I. Pre-Operation Safety Requirements

Operators must receive professional training and pass the assessment before taking up the job. Those who are not familiar with the equipment structure, operating procedures and safety precautions are strictly prohibited from operating the equipment without authorization.

Before operation, operators must wear standard Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety goggles, cut-resistant gloves, non-slip work shoes and protective clothing. Wearing loose clothes, jewelry, long hair or other items that may be involved in the equipment is strictly prohibited.

Comprehensively inspect the equipment: Confirm that the ultra-high pressure booster, cutting head, CNC system, cooling system, transmission mechanism and other components are intact, without looseness, leakage or abnormal noise; Check that the abrasive (garnet) is sufficient and the pipeline is unobstructed; Verify that the emergency stop button, limit switch and other safety devices are sensitive and effective.

Clean up the operation area: Remove irrelevant items, obstacles and flammable and explosive materials around the equipment to ensure a safe operation space; Set up warning signs around the equipment to prohibit non-operators from entering the operation area.

II. In-Operation Safety Requirements

Operate strictly in accordance with the equipment operating procedures. It is strictly prohibited to arbitrarily modify the parameters set by the CNC system, adjust the working pressure or change the cutting path without authorization.

During the cutting process, it is strictly prohibited to approach the cutting head, nozzle and cutting area with hands, head or other parts of the body to prevent injury caused by ultra-high pressure water jet, abrasive splashing or workpiece debris.

It is strictly prohibited to open the equipment protective cover during operation. If any abnormal situation (such as water leakage, oil leakage, abnormal noise, equipment jamming, etc.) is found, immediately press the emergency stop button to shut down the equipment, cut off the power supply and water source, and report to the supervisor for handling. Unauthorized maintenance or handling is strictly prohibited.

When replacing abrasive, jewel nozzle and other accessories, the equipment must be shut down first, the power supply and ultra-high pressure pipeline pressure must be cut off, and the operation can be carried out only after the equipment stops completely.

Operators shall not leave their posts without authorization during operation. If it is necessary to leave temporarily, the equipment must be shut down, the power supply must be cut off, and the handover procedures must be completed.

It is strictly prohibited to use this equipment to cut flammable, explosive, toxic and corrosive materials to prevent fire, explosion or poisoning accidents.

III. Post-Operation Safety Requirements

After the operation is completed, first stop the cutting work, turn off the ultra-high pressure pump, and then cut off the power supply, water source and air source of the equipment.

Clean up the operation area: Remove residual abrasive, workpiece debris and other sundries; Clean the cutting head, nozzle and pipeline to prevent blockage.

Inspect the equipment again: Confirm that all components are intact, without leakage or damage, and record the operation status and existing problems of the equipment.

Close the equipment protective cover, sort out tools and accessories, and place them in the designated position.

IV. Special Safety Reminders

The ultra-high pressure water jet of this equipment can reach 300-420MPa. Even if the equipment is shut down, there may still be residual pressure in the pipeline. It is strictly prohibited to disassemble the pipeline and accessories before releasing the pressure.

The equipment must be reliably grounded to prevent electric shock accidents caused by leakage.

Regularly maintain and inspect the equipment in strict accordance with the equipment maintenance manual, and replace worn parts in time to avoid potential safety hazards caused by equipment aging.

It is strictly prohibited for non-operators to operate or touch the equipment without authorization. New operators must receive training and guidance from professional personnel before taking up the job.

All operators must keep these safety instructions in mind and strictly abide by the operating procedures to ensure the safe and stable operation of the equipment.
