The disc tool changing four axis swing head machining center is a four axis linkage equipment formed by adding a swing head axis and a disc type tool magazine on the basis of a three-axis machining center. It combines automatic tool changing efficiency and multi angle machining capability. With its four axis linkage capability, it breaks through the processing limitations of traditional three-axis machine tools and is suitable for small and medium-sized parts that require multi-faceted machining and single angle tilting features, solid wood furniture, substitute wood, building models, doors, windows, curtain walls, and so on. Accurately cutting circular arc surfaces has a wider range of processing applicability, which can perfectly meet the processing requirements of complex parts, as well as process various geometric shapes and complex components such as inclined surfaces and curved surfaces that are difficult to process.

 

Application

 

1. Mold manufacturing industry

Processing of inclined surfaces and inverted structures in plastic molds; Milling of complex curved surfaces and cooling water channels for die-casting molds (such as motor end cap molds). Advantages: Head swing linkage can reduce the number of electrodes and clamping times, improve mold processing efficiency and accuracy.

2. Processing of aerospace components

Multi sided milling and hole reduction of aluminum alloy structural components; Surface contour machining of titanium alloy impellers and blades. 1. The tool circumference is distributed in a disc-shaped tool magazine, which is driven by a motor to rotate for tool selection, and is directly replaced with a spindle for tool retrieval.

2. The common tool magazine has 8-32 pieces, and some models can reach more than 40 pieces, meeting the needs of multi tool machining. Fast tool changing speed, reducing auxiliary time, and improving efficiency.

3. Compact structure, high positioning accuracy, easy maintenance, suitable for small and medium-sized machining centers.

4. Spindle head function: The spindle can swing a certain angle or continuously swing around a specific axis (such as the Y-axis or Z-axis) to achieve four axis linkage machining or multi-faceted machining.

5. One clamping can complete the machining of multiple surfaces, inclined surfaces, and curved surfaces of the workpiece, reducing the number of clamping times and improving machining accuracy.
